Fox’s “Cosmic Christ” is everyone and everything. The Vatican silenced Fox for one year, ending December 15, 1989. Yet the Church made it clear that the disciplining of Fox was for his failure to submit to the hierarchy, not for his horrendous heresies. Dismissed from the Dominican Order for insubordination, Fox continued as a priest until he defected to the Episcopalian Church. He still retains a huge following among Catholics.
