Just before becoming Vice-President of the United States, Senator Al Gore wrote a book in which he praises “the wisdom distilled by all faiths. This pan-religious perspective may prove especially important where our global civilization’s responsibility for the earth is concerned.” He praises goddess worship and blames Christianity for wiping out “the last vestige of organized goddess worship….” He praises Islam, Hinduism, Sikhism, and Baha’i as well as New Age and occultist Catholic priest Teilhard de Chardin. In his plenary address at the 1990 Global Forum in Moscow, Gore, who worships Earth as the mother goddess, Gaia, declared that ecological problems could only be solved through a “new spirituality” common to all religions.
