Peter Wagner and his fellow Fuller professor Charles Kraft speak of “authoritative prayer.” Instead of praying “Not my will but thine be done,” this kind of prayer commands God to do certain things. Satan and his minions are also commanded to take their hands off a church or person or situation. But Satan has been “rebuked” and “bound” countless times by those who imagine that this formula works, yet he seems to carry on his evil designs uninhibited by such bravado.
