The “Mary” of the apparitions consistently warns that her Son is angry with the world and that she is trying to restrain Him from pouring out His wrath upon mankind. In November 1991, at Conyers, Georgia, she said, “Please, children, unless you amend your lives, my Son’s hand is about to strike.” To prevent His judgment, “Mary” offers her peace plan for the world. On August 6, 1981, our Lady of Medjugorje identified herself as “the Queen of Peace.” In fact, the Bible says that Christ is the “Prince of Peace” (Isaiah:9:6) and that He “made peace through the blood of his cross” (Colossians:1:20). What blasphemy for this “Mary” to present her “peace plan for the world”!

“Mary” is the Savior who stands in the way of Christ’s wrath and appeases Him, but needs the prayers and devotion of her followers in order to continue to do so. Here we obviously have another satanic ploy to turn Catholics from confident trust in Christ to trust in Mary. He is depicted as our adversary, from whom “Mary” must rescue us. And the ploy has worked. Consider this well-known prayer to Mary:

“O Mother of Perpetual Help…in thy hands I place my eternal salvation, and to thee do I entrust my soul…. For if thou protect me, dear Mother, I fear nothing; not from my sins, because thou wilt obtain for me the pardon of them; nor from the devils, because thou art more powerful than all hell together; nor even from Jesus, my Judge himself, because by one prayer from thee, he will be appeased. But one thing I fear; that in the hour of temptation, I may neglect to call on thee and thus perish miserably. Obtain for me, then, the pardon of my sins….”

On February 5, 1954, the Virgin of Balestrino warned Caterina, the visionary, “My Son Jesus is very disgusted…. He wants to send a punishment, but I, His Mother, will try to find a way to keep you under my mantle.” Such was also the blasphemous message received from an apparition in Argentina north of Buenos Aires by stigmatist Gladys Herminia Quiroga de Motta. Accompanying “Mary,” a little “Jesus” allegedly declared: “Before the world was saved by means of Noah’s Ark. Today the Ark is My Mother. Through her, souls will be saved, because she will bring them toward Me. He who rejects My Mother rejects me!”
