[TBC: A poll was recently taken of Arab inhabitants of Israel and the results were quite surprising.]

Dialogue poll of Israeli Arabs: 70% Satisfied as Israeli citizens, 65% do not want their community to be part of Palestinian State

Telephone poll carried out recently (dates not identified) of 500 Israeli Arabs in Wadi Ara and the Triangle, Nazareth, Sahnin and Shfaram- by Dialogue under the supervision of statistics professor and pollster Camil Fuchs for Haaretz and published in the magazine section of the 10 January 2014 edition.

These days there are negotiations between Israel and representative of the PA in order to try to reach a peace agreement. In the case that they reach an agreement, would you be for or against the exchange of territories between Israel and the PA?

Personally, would you want that your community remain in its place but be transferred to the authority of the Palestinian State within the framework of the peace agreement?

[TBC: Though the media constantly puts forth the idea that the Arabs only want to obtain a "Palestinian" homeland, the majority of those polled did not want to be incorporated into such a state. They are too well aware of the track record of those governing Gaza and the enclaves in the West Bank. Further, many Arabs also view the state of Israel as a place to obtain well paying employment.]
