Question: The Bible says, “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure” (Phil 2:13). Then why do I so often fail to do His will and to please Him? I more often please myself by doing my own will. Why?

In Defense of the Faith

Question: I hope you can help me: Even though God does not cause evil, is He in control of all that happens, including the circumstances that affect our lives?”

Question: I am having a “debate” with a fellow believer who says that the idea of “love the sinner, but hate the sin” is an unbiblical concept. It seems that essentially we are to hate both the sin and the sinner. What do you think?
